How to wash Eberjey pajamas
These PJs are strictly hand wash only, due to the delicate nature of the fabric.
To hand-wash your Eberjey pajamas, you should:
- Hand wash in cold water
- Add a gentle detergent
- Tencel will shrink by around 3% with the first wash but will resist shrinkage from then on
- Once clean, drip dry the garment to avoid further shrinkage in a tumble dryer
Although handwashing may seem like a bother, you’d be surprised at how easy the pajamas are to maintain. Tencel garments are easy to pack and are wrinkle-resistant. Even once you have hand-washed them, they’ll dry quickly without the use of a tumble dryer.
Can you machine wash Eberjey pajamas?
The price of sustainability is the inability to use a washing machine, which in our opinion is a small cost for the quality of the pajamas and minimal damage to the planet.
Some outlets will advise that you can machine wash on a gentle cycle, but to protect the luxurious nature of the garment we advise against machine washing. Always check the label.
