ORDERING
Once you place your order you will receive an order confirmation, and once shipped a second email, along with the tracking details for you to follow. The majority of our parcels are sent via Royal Mail tracked, Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier service for orders outside of the UK.
If you placed an order and that item is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible. We can either order the item directly from the supplier, or you may wish to have a refund.
All of our items are sent from our boutique and we aim to despatch packages as swiftly as possible, and in most cases on the same day if ordered before 3pm. Any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday. Express Next Day delivery orders placed after 3pm will be processed on the next working day.

We have a range of delivery options to suit our customers, from standard delivery (which is free when you spend over £125) to Next Day Delivery and Saturday Delivery (free when you spend over £500).
We also have standard delivery and express delivery options for Europe and Worldwide customers.

Once we have sent your order, we will email you with the tracking information where you will be able to follow your order.
Yes we do. We can send your item using Royal Mail International or you can choose an Express Delivery service that we send via a courier and usually with DHL. Both of these methods are tracked.
We want you to be completely satisfied with anything you buy online from Caroline Randell and if you are unhappy for any reason we'll offer an exchange or refund.
You can exchange an item at Caroline Randell. We will allow one free of charge exchange per item, after this, or for international orders, we reserve the right to take a nominal payment to cover our postage and packing costs.
To request a return, please email us at info@carolinerandell.co.uk stating your unique invoice number along with your reason for the return or exchange. Please also pop a note inside the parcel with your name, invoice number and whether you would like an exchange or refund. This helps us keep track of your items when they reach us and so we can process your return or exchange as quickly as possible.
We recommend returning the order in the original packaging where possible. Please return all purchases to us within 14 days of receiving them (20 days for Worldwide orders). If you need an extended returns period, please do get in touch with us and we will try to be as flexible as possible.
We recommend sending them back to us via a traceable method, as we cannot take responsibility for returned items until signed for by us.
Please note, items must be returned to us in their original condition with the labels intact and the garment unworn and unwashed. Please ensure any briefs, thongs or swimwear are tried on over your own underwear

When you make a purchase at out boutique, you can return your item to us within 14 days for an exchange or a credit note. Items must be unworn and have all the original tags attached.
PACKAGING
Your order will be sent in our signature plain eco friendly packaging, lovingly wrapped by our team at the boutique. There will be no reference of our business name on the outer packaging, keeping your purchase discreet. You can choose to have your order luxury gift wrapped too.

Gift Vouchers are available online as an e voucher which will be emailed to you, or from our boutique as a physical voucher. Either can be used in store or online.
Gift Vouchers make a wonderful gift for your loved one as they can have the pleasure of choosing exactly what they want. We have no set voucher amount, so you can choose exactly how much you would like your voucher to be for.

BRA FITTING ADVICE
A well-fitted bra should feel supportive and comfortable from the moment you put it on and not something that takes time to get used to. The band should sit level all the way around your body and feel firm but not tight; it should do roughly 80% of the supporting work, with the straps doing very little. The centre front of the bra should lie flat against your sternum. The cup should contain all of your breast tissue smoothly, with no overspill at the top or sides and no gaping at the front. The underwire, if there is one, should sit in the crease of your breast rather than on the breast tissue itself. If you're experiencing any of these issues like the band riding up at the back, digging straps, overspill, underwire discomfort then the fit isn't right, and we can almost certainly help.
The most common signs are: the back riding up (usually means the band is too big), underwire sitting on breast tissue rather than in the crease (cup too small), straps digging in or slipping off (usually a band or cup issue rather than a strap issue), and breast tissue escaping at the sides or top of the cup. Many women have been wearing the wrong size for years without realising it and often a size they were measured for as a teenager that was never revisited. We see this every week, and the difference a correct fitting makes is genuinely significant.
The difference is most visible in the engineering. The bras we stock are constructed from over 50 individual components, compared to approximately 15 in a typical high street bra. More components means more precision in how the bra is shaped, how it sits, and how it supports which means the garment holds its structure wash after wash rather than losing its shape within months. The fabrics are also superior: the laces, the linings, the underwire casings. A well-made luxury bra from a house like Marie Jo, Aubade or Empreinte will fit better, feel better, and last years longer than its high street equivalent. When you consider cost per wear, the investment is very worth while.
Our fitting service is complimentary, completely without pressure, and unlike most lingerie retailers, we fit by eye rather than measuring tape. This matters because a tape measure gives you a number, it doesn't tell you about your shape, your breast tissue, how your body has changed, or which styles will work for your wardrobe.
Our fitters look at all of these things together and make recommendations based on genuine product knowledge built up over many years. We'll work through shapes, styles and sizes with you, and you'll leave with a clear understanding of what works for you and why. Each member of our team has a minimum of five years' experience in lingerie fitting, and between us we have over fifty years of combined expertise.
No and you're very welcome to walk in at any time during opening hours and we'll take care of you. That said, booking ahead does mean we can ensure a fitting room and a dedicated fitter are ready for you, particularly at busy times.

The neckline really does determine the bra. For scoop necks and square necklines, a balcony or balconette bra is ideal as it sits lower at the outer edge so it disappears under the fabric while still providing a beautiful lifted shape. For V-necks and lower necklines, a plunge bra is the answer as it follows the line of the neckline and stays hidden. For strapless or off-shoulder styles, a strapless or multiway bra is essential. For everyday T-shirts and anything smooth-fitting, a T-shirt bra with a seamless moulded cup gives the cleanest line. If you're ever unsure, our team are very happy to advise.
We stock a wide range of back sizes from 30 to 38 and cup sizes from A through to H, depending on the style and brand. We believe strongly that luxury lingerie should be available in a full size range — not just the more common sizes — and our brand selection reflects this. Yes — we offer a discreet, private post-surgery fitting appointment for any customer who has undergone surgery that has affected their shape or size. Our fitters approach these appointments with particular care and sensitivity, and we have experience in finding solutions that are both beautiful and supportive. Please get in touch to arrange a private appointment at a time that suits you.
Yes, and they're some of our favourite appointments. We work through your wedding day underwear, evening lingerie and bridal nightwear together and always start with photographs of your dress so we can advise on exactly what will work underneath. We also look at honeymoon swimwear in the same visit if you'd like to.

Our collections are lovingly curated from around the world and most often from France and Italy. They have been chosen for their unique design and superior quality and fit. CARING FOR YOUR LINGERIE & NIGHTWEAR
Handwashing in cool water with a gentle detergent is always the kindest method, and will extend the life of your bras significantly. If you prefer to machine wash, use a lingerie bag on a delicate cycle at 30°C or below, and always fasten the hooks to prevent snagging. Never tumble dry a bra - the heat degrades the elastic and distorts the underwire.
We recommend Soak Wash, a no-rinse gentle formula that's ideal for delicate lingerie fabrics, and something we use and recommend to all our customers.
Most silk nightwear can be very gently machine washed on a delicate cycle at a low temperature and always check the care label first.
We strongly recommend Soak Washf or all silk pieces: it's a no-rinse formula specifically designed for delicate fabrics, and it keeps silk looking and feeling its best over years of wear.
Never wring silk, instead, press excess water gently out in a towel and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight. Treated well, a silk chemise or nightdress will last for decades.
With proper care, a luxury bra should last significantly longer than a high street equivalent — often two to three years of regular wear, sometimes considerably more. The key factors are washing (handwash or delicate machine wash, no tumble dryer), rotation (giving bras at least a day's rest between wearings allows the elastic to recover), and storage (folding cups into each other rather than stacking flat). We always advise building a small collection of bras rather than relying on one or two — it extends the life of every piece in the rotation considerably.
