Frequently Asked Questions About Empreinte Thalia
What makes the Thalia different from other Empreinte bras?
Thalia is Empreinte's full cup shape, designed specifically for someone who is very full at the top of the bust. It has a high apex — the point where the cup reaches its peak — which sits the bust centrally and creates a rounded, forward-projecting shape. The side panel is stronger than on other Empreinte styles, which helps bring the bust forward rather than allowing it to spread to the sides. If you've found balcony or plunge styles don't contain enough volume at the top, Thalia is usually the answer. We stock the full cup shape only — if you're looking for a balcony option from Empreinte, Cassiopee or Agathe may suit you better.
What sizes does Empreinte Thalia come in?
We stock Thalia in 32–38 back and F, G, and H cup. Empreinte generally runs generous, so if you're between sizes or on the smaller end of your usual back size, we'd suggest sizing down. If you'd like advice on your specific measurements, call or WhatsApp the boutique and we'll help you work it out before you order.
What colours is the Thalia available in?
We hold Thalia in caramel — a warm, mid-toned neutral that works particularly well under white and pale fabrics. Ivory and black are available to special order directly from Empreinte; just get in touch with us and we can arrange this for you, usually within a few days.
Does the Thalia come with matching knickers?
Yes — the Thalia range includes a full brief, shorts, and thong, all in the same caramel colourway. The full brief in particular is worth considering if you want a smooth, contained line that echoes the structure of the bra.
How do I care for my Empreinte Thalia bra?
Hand wash in cool water or use a lingerie bag on a gentle machine cycle. We recommend Soak Wash — a no-rinse formula that's gentle on delicate fabrics and particularly good for the jacquard knit detail on Thalia. Always air dry flat and never tumble dry, as heat will shorten the life of the underwire casing and elastic.
How does Empreinte Thalia compare to Cassiopee?
Both are Empreinte bras built for a fuller bust, but they suit different shapes. Cassiopee is a balcony cut with a lower-cut cup — it works beautifully for someone who needs width and separation but doesn't carry as much volume at the very top. Thalia's full cup comes higher and has that stronger containment at the apex, making it better for someone who finds balcony styles don't fully cover or support. If you're unsure which is right for you, a fitting at the boutique will make it clear very quickly.
